Regina Varolli is the Founder, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of CulEpi, and the author of the Amazon best-seller 99 Things You Wish You Knew Before Going To Culinary School.  An internationally recognized journalist, she grew up in the restaurant biz in Los Angeles, where her chef-dad from Reggio Emilia and restaurateur-mom from LA owned and operated fine dining establishments, their flagship being restaurant St. Tropez in Beverly Hills.  From her teens to her twenties she worked various FOH positions in restaurants around Southern California.

Prior to the past ten years writing about inspiring people in the hospitality industry for HuffPost and other media outlets, Gina was a journalist covering human rights issues and women’s issues.  While living in Washington DC, she was also a Hill lobbyist, in which role she used her powers of persuasion to convince legislators to enact and enforce laws that ensure the fair treatment of minorities and women all over the globe.

Gina has traveled the world in search of inspirational stories, taking her from cacao plantations in the Dominican Republic to tribal ceremonies in the Ecuadoran Amazon to the Bocuse d’Or in Lyon.  Always remaining true to her internal compass, she is guided by a desire to inspire others and make a positive impact through her work.
