Born in New Orleans, Steven D’Angelo knew from an early age he was destined to connect with people through food and make it his lifelong passion. With over 25 years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef D’Angelo’s New Orleans roots steeped him in renowned cuisine and hospitality. D’Angelo was tapped to become a chef at an early age, and with the tutelage of Chef Emeril Lagasse and his organization in 1995, Steven was involved with the operations of multiple restaurants, television appearances and the execution of large-scale charitable events. Chef Steven became the owner of his own restaurant in 2001, developing it into a very successful operation on the coast of Mississippi until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. After the storm, Steven was asked by Emeril to come back and lead a new development of Lagasse’s. Steven has since worked as a corporate chef in established restaurants and helped develop and launch several restaurant concepts. He has also held the corporate chef position for Unified Brands, a global manufacturer of food service equipment. Chef D’Angelo, the co-founder of Chefter, partnered with Bryan Spencer, will help realize the vision of professional culinary guidance with technical enhancement and its profound impact on society.
